To day I walked 2.2 miles before the sun came up. Then I went to the grocery store, and came home and meal prepped for the week. I did watch a little NFL football, and then I got a phone call from my mom.
She called to let me know that her sister is in the hospital with Pneumonia. Her name is Theodora, she is my favorite aunt and my Godmother. Apparently she is not talking except to remind the nurses she is a DNR and she is refusing food. She is on oxygen. Since the beginning of the year she was diagnosed with Lung cancer & they removed her right lung. Then she developed brain tumors, they were able to shrink them with Radiation, then her brain started swelling and causing her to pass out, and now she has pneumonia. She is tired.
She was always larger than life. She loved to dance and won several local contests, she loved to play the guitar,she loved to laugh, she also liked to travel. She lost her only son about 5 years ago, she has 4 grandson’s and she spends at much time with as possible.
She does not live near me so I will be traveling to see her in the hospital.
I will miss her terribly but I believe that we only here for a short time and we are suppose to learn a lesson of some sort, then our time is over.
I did just lose my husband of 26 years, he passed a few days after Christmas less than 3 years ago. I still miss him terribly but I know he is where he is suppose to be and I am where I am suppose to be. Good Night!
