I have not traveled to see my Aunt Theodora, she had to have emergency surgery on Sunday evening, it lasted 12 hours and she has been unconscious for the last two days, on a ventilator and a feeding tube. They removed the ventilator today and she is still unconscious but breathing on her own.
I am leaving in the morning to go see her. I know that she will not even know that I am there but I still need to see her. It as been a long few days especially for her.So I will be traveling tomorrow.
On another front, my co-worker has a phone interview tomorrow. She tends to complain a lot, does not really have anything nice to say to any one, and always thinks everyone around her is disrespecting her. We came from another company where everyone sort of kissed her butt, it was a small company. Now we are at a larger company and they do not do that, instead she has been written up twice. She is not happy. This is terrible to say but sometimes when she calls and will not stopping complaining about everything, I hit the Volume button on my phone and it makes my phone ring so she will hear and hang up. Yes I know, I need to set boundaries. I guess that is the people pleaser in me. I am working on that. Good bye for now.
