Apparently her body has been through quite a lot and she no longer had the energy to fight.
She had a colonoscopy and the the doctor went through her colon wall and tore her spleen in half, did not tell her and sent her home. Two days later she had emergency surgery and her spleen removed. Two years later the lung cancer, then the brain tumors, several bouts of pneumonia and then a perforated bowel. She never work up from that surgery, then she quit breathing.
She was quite a lady and she lived a very colorful life. She always had lots of boyfriend in her teens and early twenties, she did get married, had two children. She also had a lot of her children’s friends living with her as well. She actually married three times. her first husband cheated on her, her second husband beat her and her 3rd was a wonderful man. A retired school teacher. She was also very intelligence, she was always reading something new, loved the calendars that had a Word of the DAY. Loved history, antique furniture which she learned how to refinish. She had a beautiful garden and a house full of plants. She was a marvelous cook.
She buried both her parents, her older sister, her first ex-husband,and her son. She had 4 grandson’s ranging in age from 32 to 12.
She never met a person she did not like, she was a typical Leo, loved the spotlight and was always posing. She was never afraid to try something new.
Grief is a funny thing, I have cried a little but not as much as I thought I would. I think I am still processing everything. She sent me a birthday card two weeks before she died. It arrived the day she passed. I did cry some when I saw it was from her. I have plant that she gave me a Christmas cactus, I actually have 4 but only one was from her. It has been blooming all week the other three are not.
I will miss her terribly.- Good night
